York Red
A warm northern red with soft variation and a faintly grained face, solid and unpretentious in the way Yorkshire brickwork tends to be. It gives an elevation warmth and depth and then gets on with the business of being a wall. Forgiving on mortar, straightforward to lay, and consistent enough to order in quantity.
