Will every slab look the same?
No — tone varies from pale silver to deeper graphite, with veining unique to each piece. Lay slabs out dry first to distribute the lighter and darker ones evenly.
Does it need sealing?
Not essential, but recommended. A breathable impregnating sealer applied a few weeks after laying resists grease, leaf tannin and algae.
Is it slip resistant?
Yes. The riven face is split along the stone's natural bedding plane, leaving a lightly textured surface that holds grip when wet
